Home Building Process — Step by Step

Initial Conversation
We begin by asking you a series of questions to help us understand your goals, priorities, and vision for your new home. -
Preliminary Planning
You meet with us, tour a home under construction, and go “behind the scenes.” In this one‑hour session, we discuss your design needs, the lot’s characteristics, your wish list, and your projected budget. -
Consultation
You can ask any questions about the construction process. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit one of our completed homes so you can see firsthand our workmanship, quality, and included features. -
Building Agreement / Tender
If architectural drawings and engineering work are not yet complete, we incorporate them into the agreement. We also include site inspections, BASIX / compliance reports, surveys, and specialized studies. All this allows us to produce a fixed‑price tender (a detailed, 50+ page listing of inclusions and costs). -
Contract & Deposit
Once the fixed‑price tender is accepted, we prepare the building contract and any additional necessary paperwork. We meet with you to review and sign all documentation and address any remaining questions. A deposit is collected. -
Construction
Construction begins. You’ll have regular meetings with our representative and the site supervisor for updates. You’ll also have continual access via an online client portal. At key stages, you’ll be invited to inspections on site. -
Handover
Before handover, we perform a comprehensive walkthrough with you, so you can raise any concerns. On handover day, you’ll meet with our team, receive the keys, and we’ll guide you through your new home, room by room.
